Vette
Agin
The Vette Agin is the latest in a long line of innovative custom car concepts from automotive artist and designer Thom Taylor. Thom has taken the basic shape of the classic 53--55 Corvette and brought it to the next millennium with radical styling features like a chopped and raked windscreen, lowered and reshaped grille opening, sculpted body side vents, and molded-in sidepipe bulges. The interior features heavily sculpted seats and door panels, and a high tech dash that still recalls the design of Corvettes past. The Vette Agin retains a vintage Corvette engine and underpinnings, rolls on gorgeous 17 inch Centerline Starfire 5-spoke wheels on Goodyear Gatorback tires. Custom checkerboard graphics or "sclame" (scallops+flames) decals are included if you'd like to further customize your model. Enjoy building your Revell-Monogram model of this great custom concept, and who knows? Someday soon the Vette Agin may be built in full size. |

Dave's comments: Retro is really "IN" these days and this Thom Taylor creation plays those emotions to the hilt. The Corvette is still one of my favorite cars of all time, and no less than Tom Daniel himself felt the same when he customized his own California Street Vette in the early 70s. |
