Boss
A Bone
Every rodder at one time or another has dreamed of owning a pickup. Invariably those dreams lead to the 1929, '30 model 'A' Ford machines. It's simply that no other truck has the combination of utilitarian capability and true hot rodding flavor. Monogram's super-slick version of this classic Ford is something else. One look and your eyes are instantly in love...and all that comes out of your slack jaw are whistling sounds of appreciation. Man, it IS a groovy kit. Powered by a late model Olds mill, hooked up to a B&M Torqueflite, the Boss 'A' Bone does "get it on" with the pavement. An unusual running-board-mounted "Off Road" tuned header exhaust system gives this model its own unique look. The front nerf bar also serves as a push bar when starting the "Heavies" at the drap strip. Plush interior, chrome roll-bar, low profile wide ovals in front and fat slicks in the rear set the "Bone" squarely on the ground. Five-spoked American mags with knock-offs add to the "Boss A Bone's" solid look. Also included to add to the realistic appearance of your model is complete skin-diving equipment, consisting of air tanks, regulator and hose, fins, face mask, spear gun, equipment bag and weighted belt with knife. |

Dave's comments: What's with all the scuba gear with this one? Must be a California thing. Same gig on Starbird's Blue Beetle. |
