Darryl Starbird, Monogram's customizing consultant has included many of his championship ideas in the Blue Beetle. The custom equipment in the Monogram Blue Beetle kit includes a Cadillac engine with six chrome plated two barrel carburetors, chrome plated generator, water pump, pulleys, heads and valve covers, and exhaust system. The custom interior includes a chrome plated dashboard, naugahyde covered, rolled and pleated, bucket seats with matching panel trim and carpeted floors. Complete with skin diving equipment, consisting of air tanks, regulator and hose, fins, face mask, spear gun and surfboard. |

Dave's comments: I really get a kick of these old Starbird kits. Must be his crewcut do. Very similar to Daniel's Boss 'A' Bone. This is a 1966 reissue. |
