Baja Beast | ||
---|---|---|---|
Built by: Glaucio Sansonas in Brazil I call this “Pepper Kombi”. To make this, I used the Monogram Baja Beast as base and I made a lot of modifications. I modified the rear door (to make this open-able) and I copy the cover engine from a VW Type II Hasegawa kit. In the body I put a scoop in the roof and I closed the rear wheels. The seats are from a VW Beetle (Tamiya) and the wheels are from a Porsche (Fujimi Kit) and are painted with Alclad II C hrome with black base.The engine pulleys and the NOS cylinder are from Mr. Model (www.mrmodel.com.br) and are made with aluminum.The tubular structure was made with round plastic bars and was painted with a gray from GM.To the paint, I used a color Blue from the Ford Ranger and a White Pearl. In front suspension I put independent arms. I
tried to make a Show Car that can be used almost
normally, to go and to come back from the meetings, for example. If I
could, I would like to make something similar in the 1:1 scale. |
