I started out with the re-issue Monkeemobile, and I didn't want to build it right out of the box. I ended up using the wheels , tires, and rear end from the "Super-Taxi" snapper kit.

I modified the rear end and ladderbar set up to fit the monkee chassis. I made a driveshaft from a piece of aluminum rod, and I made the front axle from a piece of tube styrene. I also used the "wheelie" base from the super taxi.

I sprayed the body with plasticoat racin' red metalflake. The roof and interior were sprayed with flat tan. Tires are sprayed flat black, and the wheels are sprayed with zynolite chrome paint.
