Son
of Ford
Dynamic
'32 Roadster
- Original year: 1970
- Company: Monogram
- Scale: 1/24
- Designer: Tom Daniel
It's been 38 years since Henry Ford introduced the
1932 line of cars bearing his name. It was a very good year for Fords,
for the "Deuce" as it was nicknamed, became one of the most sought-after
machines by hot rod enthusiasts everywhere. Powered by an injected Boss
302 Mustang mill, and rowed by a Hurst 4-speed, the "SON" does bend
the rubber on those big, rear slicks. That neck snapping acceleration
is punctuated with mucho bad-type snarling sounds from the tuned length
headers and 3 1/2 inch collector pipes. Super clean interior includes:
neatly padded upholstery, bench seat, roll-bar, dash mounted tach and
custom steering wheel. A moon tank nestles up front between the fenders,
and 5-spoke "Starfish" Mags complete the story of beauty for this ultra-sanitary
rodder's rod.
