Li'l
Roamin' Chariot
Verily, all rods lead to Rome, so here comes the colossus of roads! From its gladiator radiator to its magnificent "Big Brutus" slicks, R.C. is truly the noblest Roman of 'em all! Behold the soundness of the "terribly firma" chassis, the beauty of its upholstery (by Helen of Troy, Michigan), the power of its "cherry-eight" propulsion unit, its towering helmet inspired coachwork, "Ben Hurst" shifter, gleaming headers by Hadriani! Indeed, this is the ultimate in personal transport; for triumphal entries at orgies, lion's games, or pizzerias! |

Dave's comments: I have no idea why they refer to this as a "Pizza Pusher." I'll have to ask AMT's David Wilder about that some day. All I know is, Charelton Heston is the only qualified driver for that "Ben Hurst" shifter. Lots of clever "Roman-esque" detail on this one. Part of an outstanding creative series of "Li'l" AMT show rods, it has the identical chassis of the Li'l 'Stogie Wagon and the Li'l Hot Dogger. |
