Good Guys TV Taxi
From the Good Guys TV Show

  • Original year: 1968
  • Company: Model Products Corporation (MPC)
  • Scale: 1/25
  • Designer: George Barris

It's Television's zaniest car...the wildest thing ever to come out of the mind of George Barris includes: V-8 engine, plated luggage wheels, 'L' shaped interior that with that "Lived In" look, horns, hood opens, hood scoops, hollow (mis-matched) tires, flip down step and boot, grappling hooks for fast stops, clothesbrush windsheild wiper and coffee-pot hour glass meter. All the parts and accessories needed to build it as wacky as the real one!

Dave's comments:

This little-known sitcom ran only two years (1968 and 1969) and starred Bob Denver of Gilligan's Island fame. Here's an interesting site that explains the series and in detail. The site even references the model kit with a pic of a sealed original. See the pics on the right that promoted the show in the late 60s.
