This is a customized and sharply detailed model of the 1930 Ford "A" Wagon, a favorite of west coast surfers and prized by restorers everywhere. It features wood-grained side panels and operating tailgate with the look of the maple woodwork of the original car. Body is red and natural wood color plastic. Engine is the Chevy 283 CU. IN. with lots of gleaming chrome and and six jugs. The mag wheels have knock-off caps and white wall tires and drag slicks. Two scale surfboards, to fit in the cargo space, included in kit. |

Dave's comments: This is a 1967 reissue of the original 1964 kit. Reissued later in 1974 and again in 1995. The venerable station wagon rod with that California surf theme before the dune buggies took over. |
