The only way to find something stock on Bill Cushenbery's '40 Ford coupe is to look underneath at the chassis. After three years of toil and a little over $7,000, Bill had accomplished his goal, to build the most "Fabulous Far-out Forty Ford".

Customizing didn't stop with just the body, for under the hood is an Olds V-8 engine, along with the brightwork of chrome. The "Matador" was chosen by Car Craft Magazine as one of the top ten customs of 1961. The car has just finished a national tour by PROMOTIONS, INC.
