I built this kit box stock. I tend to do that when it comes to actual old show cars. Tom Daniel 's kits are another matter.

I wired and plumbed the engine and made my own wire looms. The balls on the injector tubes are something they always did when the car was being shown. It was to keep the kids from dumping popcorn down them, or spitting in them, who knows. I used small beads painted red.

The body parts were glued together, then sanded filled and painted, so there are no seams in the body. The color is candy red over silver, with pearl black on the roof and upholstery. I saw this car in '66 at the Oakland Roadster Show, and it really blew my mind. I was glad to be able to build this one again.
