I rescued this little Sand Crab from the land of forgotten models. It was is in real rough shape and must have been in a flood because it had moldy spots all over it. Amazingly, all the pieces were present and accounted for and I had the original box, instructions and decals.

After completely dismantling and cleaning up all the parts, I polished and waxed the body. I was really pleased with how it cleaned up, so rather than paint it, I decided to leave the in it's original molded color.

I reassembled everything, painted the interior and other details, and carefully applied the fragile decals. I am really fond of this kit. It is a welcome addition to my TD collection.
