The model started out box stock with the exception of the rims from the parts box and wiring the engine with sparkplug wires with real rubber boots.

The mummy head was weathered to give it the look as if being really old while the paint is a flip-flop chromalusion that changes form purple to gold.

This was a really fun kit to build and since the time I built it I have built several other showrods as well.
