Mack C-cab

Built by: Ira Dahm in Cotati, California

This is the second car from the Paddy Wagon/Beer Wagon kit bashing project.

Most of the parts for this model come from the Beer Wagon Kit. The C Cab body is from the Paddy Wagon, it was sectioned about 1/2 inch. The back of the C Cab was made from the interior partition with an oval window cut out.

The rear fenders were cut from the Paddy Wagon frame and glued in place. The floorboard was made with sheet plastic. The frame has been shortened about 1/2 inch, and the tail lights are rhinestones. Two short pieces of aluminum tubing replaced the plastic collectors on the headers.

A single bucket seat replaced the stock bench seats. The body and frame were painted with Tester's yellow, and Slixx flame decals were added.

This project was great fun planning how to end up with two kit bashed cars, mostly from just two kits.
