The Copout was built in 2002 from a reissued kit. The body was
painted with PPG black lacquer. Instead of using the decals the doors
and center stripe were masked off and shot in PPG white. Several coats
of clear, a month of dry time then sanding and polishing completed the
paint. The flames on the kit decals were cut away from the white door
panels and applied to the body. The Copout lettering was trimmed close
to the edges and applied along with the rest of the decals.
The chassis was shot in PPG black and the engine was lightly detailed
with plug wires. Another quick build but the results look good
