Boot Hill Express

Built by: Brandon Flannery in Bakersfield, California

I built this Boot Hill Express for Duwayne Love. He has a huge collection, but his military career takes most of his model building time, and I am glad to help.

I painted the body with Testors Champagne Gold, and found it to be a nice color. It helps the other "Gold" parts appear to be gold. I also painted the panels and insets of the body with Testors Gold like the original. I painted the golden statues on the roof with Krylon Gold, it being darker, and providing a nice contrast.

I used gloss black on the leather to give it that polished look, and Turn Signal Amber on the curtain fringe. I wired up the red Hemi in yellow and detailed the interior area. I really like this kit, and the front wheels are worth buying the kit to bash!
