I don't know if all of you knew that a 1:1 of the Black Widow was built from the model kit. It was featured on the cover of Rod & Custom Magazine.

I decided to build a custom of the 1:1 build. (a model of a 1:1 of a model) Using the photos from the magazine, I customized the kit to match the 1:1 build. The interior was replicated by scoring a Styrofoam plate for the tuck and roll. Also added the red fuel lines to the carbs.

The bed was created with a few cuts and some paint on the balsa wood strips. Added chromed half round in between the wood slats.

The tank in the bed was taken from our junk yard collection and customized with a handmade decal. I used felt for the carpet and made a shifter bag from clay.

Also, I added the gas pedal and the clutch, and a rear view mirror.
