Built by: Jay Lewis in Fridley, Minnesota
The Bad Man was built in 1994 from a reissued kit. The body was painted PPG Carnival Yellow, followed by a few coats of House of Kolor candy lime gold for depth, then clear coated. After the usual one month dry time the body was sanded and polished.
The body trim was bare metal foiled. All chassis components were painted black with bolt heads highlighted. The engine received some fuel lines and
plug wires to finish it off.
I had trouble with the usually thick Monogram decals conforming to the body. I got them to lay down and look good only to find them wrinkled up the next day. I left them off out of spite but I do like it without them. I have more of these with newer decals so I'll build another Bad Man with decals in the future.
